Job summary

Louisiana Cat is seeking a Rental Coordinator to support our Baton Rouge rental operations. You will receive equipment rental orders, coordinate truck routes for delivery and pickup, and assist with invoicing and database maintenance.

The role requires multitasking, strong communication, and proficiency in Word/Excel/Outlook. On-site work with a standard M-F schedule and occasional on-call weekends. Louisiana Cat offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are searching for a Rental Coordinator to join our growing Rental operations at our Baton Rougr, Louisiana location. The Rental Coordinator will be responsible for receiving equipment rental orders from customers and Outside Sales Representatives.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION

• Prepare contracts for equipment rentals and route trucks to customer sites for delivery and pick up
• Prepare, submit, and follow up on customer invoices
• Maintain databases and assist with the overall success of the rental department
• Monitor customer accounts and obtain account verification

MOST IMPORTANT QUALIFICATIONS

• HIGHLY PREFERRED: Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
• REQUIRED: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• REQUIRED: Ability to handle multiple tasks in an effectively, timely, and professional manner
• HIGHLY PREFERRED: Well-developed communication and organizational skills
• HIGHLY PREFERRED: Proficiency in computers and related software

JOB FACTS

• SHIFT: 7am - 5pm Monday - Friday; some weekends on call
• Will require physical movement as listed in the job description
