This position involves managing and maintaining equipment fleets at the OP Rental Center. Responsibilities include researching best practices for gear maintenance, assisting with gear sales and inventory, developing training workshops, and providing instructions on outdoor equipment use. The role requires initiative, a strong interest in outdoor recreation, experience with outdoor equipment, and excellent customer service skills.
Required Qualifications: Extensive knowledge of outdoor equipment, experience maintaining and repairing outdoor gear, familiarity with OP Rental Shop policies, CPR/AED and First Aid certifications, ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, stand for extended periods, lift 50 pounds, and excellent communication skills.
This is a full-time, entry-level position with a pay rate of $13.25/hour, located at Weber State University in Ogden, UT. The work schedule may include nights and weekends. The position is open until October 1, 2025.
