A Park District is seeking a part-time Rental Attendant to gather public information and maintain facilities. Responsibilities include securing locations, assisting visitors, and performing custodial duties. Applicants should be at least 16 years old with computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Summary: Under the supervision of the Manager of District-Wide Rentals & Memberships, the Rental Attendant is responsible for greeting and providing the public with information regarding their rental and the facility. Rental Attendants should possess good interpersonal skills and be comfortable working independently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience: Must be at least 16 years of age. Computer literacy with knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with cash handling.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Schedule: As needed based on rental schedules.
Classification: Part-time, non-exempt
Benefits: May be eligible to use District facilities and programs at a reduced rate.
