Okemo Mountain Resort in Ludlow, Vermont seeks a Rental Associate for the winter season. The role focuses on providing world-class guest service in our retail shops, helping guests select and fit rental equipment, and explaining operation and safety procedures.

The position supports teamwork across departments to maintain safety and guest satisfaction. The role offers a starting wage of $20/hr, with both full-time and part-time hours available.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a flexible schedule; including nights, holidays and weekends
• Commitment to exceptional Customer Service
• Maintain a working knowledge of products and trends within the industry
• Ability to stand and move in an active, team-oriented environment for extended periods
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English

Responsabilités

• Fit guests with equipment - we'll train you!
• Explain to guests how to operate rental equipment, safety practices, and guest responsibility for the equipment during the rental including length of rental and return options
• Work together with teammates to maintain safety standard
• May include other duties such as cashiering, retail sales
• Other duties as assigned

Rental associates are responsible for generating sales through world-class guest service, assisting customers with rental equipment and providing our guests with gear and services for the ultimate outdoor experience.

Job Specifications

Role

A Rental Associate team member is a flexible employee who often works across multiple departments and in various roles to support the one resort mentality which could include one of the following:

• Mountain Activities
• Retail Rental operations
• Food and Beverage Support
• Ticket sales or scanning
• Lift Operations
• Base Area Operations

The expected pay range is $20/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
