Rental and Trucking Manager

Currently, we are seeking a Rental and Trucking Manager to join our team in our Warminster, PA location. This position will oversee the day-to-day rental and transportation operations at the branch level. Responsibilities include managing the rental fleet, coordinating equipment deliveries and pickups, and supporting customers. Main Duties:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the branch rental department.
• Oversee rental fleet availability, scheduling, inspections, and maintenance coordination.
• Coordinate the delivery and pickup of rental equipment to ensure timely customer service.
• Work closely with drivers, technicians, dispatchers, and branch personnel to support rental operations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for rental customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and transportation partners.
• Monitor rental fleet utilization and identify opportunities to maximize equipment availability and productivity.
• Coordinate with service personnel to schedule equipment repairs and minimize downtime.
• Assist customers with rental equipment selection, availability, and scheduling.
• Maintain accurate rental agreements, fleet records, equipment histories, and transportation documentation.
• Supervise and support rental coordinators, drivers, and other assigned personnel.
• Provide coaching, training, and ongoing support to team members.
• Promote compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Monitor expenses and utilize resources effectively to support branch performance goals.
• Prepare reports related to rental activity, fleet utilization, deliveries, and operational performance.
• Work closely with branch leadership to support overall customer satisfaction and operational success.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to monitor expenses, utilize resources effectively, and support departmental objectives.
• Experience in the material handling, construction equipment, heavy equipment, transportation, or related industries preferred.
• Proficiency with fleet management, rental management, logistics, or related business software a plus.
