Job summary

IRT Living in Oklahoma City is seeking a Renovations Technician to contribute to apartment rehab and value-add projects. You will assist with installing appliances, fixtures, and basic carpentry while coordinating with Project Managers to keep timelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• General understanding of light repair on electric, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC.
• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 45 lbs., with occasional lifts up to 80 lbs.
• Capable of pushing and pulling appliance dollies weighing up to 200 lbs. and moving items between floors.
• Physical ability to bend, stoop, climb stairs, kneel, balance, reach overhead, walk, and twist comfortably.
• Reliable vision, hearing, and speech abilities (with or without corrective devices).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Roll up sleeves and dive into hands-on apartment renovations—from demo to final touches.
• Install appliances, light fixtures, plumbing, and electrical trim with precision.
• Keep workspace clean, safe, and organized to ensure smooth projects.
• Stay connected with Project Managers and share updates to keep renovation on track.
• Own tasks and contribute to transforming communities unit by unit.
