Job summary

IRT Living, part of Independence-Realty-Trust, seeks a Renovations Technician to transform apartments through rehab and value-add projects. You will assist with installing appliances, fixtures, and minor carpentry, working closely with Project Managers to keep renovations on schedule.

You thrive in a hands-on environment, maintain safety standards, and contribute to high-quality workmanship across our multifamily communities in Oklahoma City. Previous experience in light repairs is valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• General understanding of light repair on electric, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC.
• Ability to lift regularly up to 45 lbs., occasionally up to 80 lbs.
• Capable of pushing/pulling appliance dollies up to 200 lbs. and moving items between floors.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Demo to final touches of apartment renovations.
• Install appliances, light fixtures, plumbing, and electrical trim with precision.
• Keep workspace clean, safe, and organized.
• Coordinate with Project Managers to keep renovation on track and on time.
• Contribute to transforming our communities, one unit at a time.
