Job summary

The Rector & Visitors of the University of Virginia is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee renovations across University Grounds within UVA's Facilities Management. The CPM will coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and in-house trades to manage scope, schedule, and budget from inception to close-out, while ensuring compliance with contract documents.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma and 4 years of experience in project or construction management, commercial construction, architecture, or engineering.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering.
• Proficient in scheduling software (eBuilder, Procore, Project Server) and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Determine scope, schedule and budget for projects and ensure adherence.
• Develop and maintain project documents, logs, submittals, RFIs, change orders.
• Oversee procurement of materials and services; ensure compliance with contracts.
• Perform inspections and provide cost estimates for approval.
• Assist in obtaining project permits and closing projects.
