JA Solari & Partners, a trusted Northern Nevada accounting and advisory firm, seeks a Senior Tax Manager in Reno, NV. This on-site, full-time role oversees complex tax engagements, mentoring staff, and managing client relationships across individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, and estates.

The candidate will interpret tax laws, identify savings opportunities, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, collaborating with partners on advisory

Formación

• CPA license is required; advanced tax credentials (e.g., MST, JD with tax focus) are beneficial.
• Several years of progressive public accounting tax experience at manager or senior manager level, including staff supervision and client management.
• Deep knowledge of federal, state, and local tax rules for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts/estates.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee complex tax engagements for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, and estates.
• Lead and mentor tax staff, manage client relationships, and provide proactive tax advisory services.
• Interpret and apply tax laws, identify tax-saving opportunities, resolve tax issues, ensure compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with partners and other service teams on business consulting and cross-functional initiatives.
