Sorren is recruiting a tax professional in Reno to prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership returns while mentoring junior staff. You’ll coordinate quarterly/annual tax tasks, ensure filings are accurate, and assist with planning and client communication.

Qualifications

• Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and consolidated tax returns.
• Review associates’ and interns’ tax returns and provide feedback for quality and growth.
• Perform and review quarterly and annual accounting procedures for tax purposes.

Responsibilities

• Identify organizational structures and related entities for tax implications.
• Ensure data accuracy for filings and communicate missing information.
• Calculate quarterly and annual estimated tax liabilities.
• Conduct tax planning to identify opportunities for clients.
• Mentor and supervise junior staff to enhance team performance.
• Stay updated on tax laws and best practices.
