Penguin Random House LLC in Reno, NV is seeking Light Picker/Packers for the 2nd shift, Mon-Fri 10:30am-6:30pm. The role is onsite with compensation of $18.00 per hour and full benefits starting on day one.

Responsibilities include picking, packing and shipping approximately 1.2 million books daily to customers worldwide. Candidates should have basic reading and math skills, and be able to lift up to 25–35 lbs and stand for long periods.

It is only with a dedicated staff we are able to meet and exceed our customers expectations by picking, packing and shipping approximately 1.2 million books daily to customers around the world.

Job Description

We have immediate openings for Light Picker/Packers on 2nd shift. $18.00/hr. and full benefits effective your first day of employment.

Monday - Friday 10:30am - 6:30pm

Qualifications

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Requires basic reading and math skills


• Must be able to push, pull, bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis and occasionally up to 35 lbs.


• Must be able to stand for an entire shift (minimal breaks provided)


• Must follow all safety rules and work well in a team-orientated environment


• Must possess the flexibility to work in other areas based on business needs


• Minimum age requirement is 18


• Good verbal and written communication skills


• Ability to maintain good overall safety and attendance record


• Work well in a team-orientated environment


• Must adhere to all established safety and precaution measures. The Health and Safety of all our employees is critical.


• Must be flexible and cross-trained in other areas to assist with work in other departments based on business needs
