Penguin Random House LLC in Reno, NV is seeking Light Picker/Packers for 1st shift, onsite. Starting at $16.00/hour with full benefits on day one. Roles involve picking, packing and shipping approximately 1.2 million books daily.

Position requires basic reading and math, ability to lift up to 25 lbs (35 lbs occasionally), standing through the shift, and teamwork. Candidates must be 18+ and able to cross-train as needed.

Job Description

We have immediate openings for Light Picker/Packers on 1st shift. Mon - Fri, $16.00/hr. and full benefits effective your first day of employment.

Qualifications

Responsibilies include but are not limited to:

• Requires basic reading and math skills
• Must be able to push, pull, bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis and occasionally up to 35 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for an entire shift (minimal breaks provided)
• Must follow all safety rules and work well in a team-orientated environment
• Must possess the flexibility to work in other areas based on business needs
• Minimum age requirement is 18
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain good overall safety and attendance record
• Work well in a team-orientated environment
• Must adhere to all established safety and precaution measures. The Health and Safety of all our employees is critical.
• Must be flexible and cross-trained in other areas to assist with work in other departments based on business needs
