Penguin Random House's Reno fulfillment center is seeking Light Picker/Packers for the 2nd shift, Mon-Fri, 10:30am - 6:30pm. This full-time role offers a competitive hourly wage of $18.00 and benefits from day one, with opportunities to contribute to handling about 1.2 million books daily.

You will pick, pack, and ship orders while adhering to safety and teamwork standards. The ideal candidate will be able to read and perform basic math, stand for long periods, and lift up to 25 lbs (35 lbs

Penguin Random House is the premier provider of distribution services in the publishing industry. Our fulfillment center, located in Reno , NV is seeking qualified workers and available to work. It is only with a dedicated staff we are able to meet and exceed our customers expectations by picking, packing and shipping approximately 1.2 million books daily to customers around the world.

We have immediate openings for Light Picker/Packers on 2nd shift. $18.00/hr. and full benefits effective your first day of employment.

Monday - Friday 10:30am - 6:30pm

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Requires basic reading and math skills
• Must be able to push, pull, bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis and occasionally up to 35 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for an entire shift (minimal breaks provided)
• Must follow all safety rules and work well in a team-orientated environment
• Must possess the flexibility to work in other areas based on business needs
• Minimum age requirement is 18
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain good overall safety and attendance record
• Work well in a team-orientated environment
• Must adhere to all established safety and precaution measures. The Health and Safety of all our employees is critical.
• Must be flexible and cross-trained in other areas to assist with work in other departments based on business needs
