Job summary

MOREgroup is seeking an experienced Architect/Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary project teams, ensure design excellence, and oversee the delivery of architectural projects from concept through completion. The ideal candidate is a licensed architect with a track record of managing complex projects and mentoring junior staff.

This hybrid, Reno-based role offers opportunities to manage client relationships, contracts, budgets, and schedules while staying current with building codes,

Qualifications

• Professional degree from an accredited Architectural program is required.
• Architect license is preferred.
• 10+ years of professional experience with at least 5 years in managing projects and teams, including budgets, staffing, and schedules.
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong client/stakeholder management.
• Ability to lead through influence and collaborate in a hybrid environment with digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams from development to execution.
• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to high design and technical standards.
• Review and approve design work, drawings, and specifications for quality and code compliance.
• Develop construction documentation and specifications.
• Mentor team members, including architects, designers, and technical staff.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders; manage expectations.
• Oversee project scope, contracts, budgets, and change orders with firm leadership.
• Stay current with building codes, industry trends, materials, and sustainability standards.
