Job summary

TEKsystems looks for a Data Center Lab Operations Engineer to support a high-performance compute environment used for development and validation of next-generation tech. You will partner with engineering, QA, and operations to maintain infrastructure, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive improvements.

Responsibilities include maintaining a large-scale compute farm, deploying and troubleshooting with cross‑functional teams, monitoring SLA targets, leading incident recovery, deploying hardware,

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data-center or lab operations.
• Strong Linux/Windows administration knowledge.
• Experience troubleshoo t hardware, servers, networking and OS.
• Familiar with DCIM and asset management platforms.
• Proficient in scripting/automation with Python/Shell/Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Maintain large-scale compute farm and supporting infra.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, QA and systems teams to deploy and troubleshoot.
• Monitor health, availability and performance to meet SLA targets.
• Lead recovery efforts for infrastructure incidents.
• Assist with deployments, upgrades and maintenance.
• Develop SOPs and document processes.
• Analyze infrastructure metrics to drive reliability improvements.
• Implement automation and tooling improvements.
