Job summary

The GOR Group, a rapidly growing leader in mission-critical data center infrastructure, seeks an Engineer, Data Center Operations in Reno, NV. You will support daily operations, monitor infrastructure, and ensure uptime for high-density environments.

This hands-on role requires 2-4+ years of experience, experience with electrical, mechanical, or IT systems, and the ability to work swing shifts. You will work with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable service and

Qualifications

• Experience in data center operations or critical facilities.
• Hands-on with cabling, installation, maintenance.
• Familiarity with power, cooling, IT systems in production.
• Experience with ticketing/monitoring platforms preferred.
• Able to work 24/7 on rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day operational tasks including racking, cabling, and facility rounds.
• Support preventative and corrective maintenance under guidance of senior engineers.
• Monitor power, cooling, and IT systems to ensure uptime.
• Provide remote hands support and clear customer communication.
• Document changes, maintenance, and incidents for audits.
