Job description

In coordination with the Senior Superintendent, Project Management Team, and Trade Partners, the Project Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day field execution of assigned scopes of work, with a primary focus on parking structure, tilt-up, and heavy concrete operations. This role ensures all work is performed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with contract documents, while maintaining direct reporting with the Senior Superintendent and the General Superintendent.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIE

SPrimary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following

  • Lead daily field operations for cast-in-place concrete, post-tensioned parking structures, tilt-up panels, and structural systems
  • Maintain strong field presence ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and approved submittals
  • Coordinate with design build contractor on concrete placements, sequencing, logistics, and access
  • Identify constructability issues and collaborate on solutions
  • Coordinate daily and weekly work plans, and report daily progress and issues to the Senior Superintendent
  • Support look-ahead schedules and recovery plans
  • Enforce safety, schedule, quality, and scope compliance, and resolve issues promptly
  • Enforce OSHA and site-specific safety requirements
  • Lead safety meetings and stop unsafe work immediately
  • Ensure compliance with inspection and testing plans
  • Monitor reinforcing, embeds, post-tensioning, and finishes
  • Assist with field reports and documentation
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITI
  • Strong understanding of structural drawings, sequencing, and means and method
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practice
  • Familiarity with Nevada construction market and inspections preferre
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar field tools preferre
  • Cooperate with others in the accomplishment of joint tasks and common objective
  • Effectively communicate with coworkers and business partner
  • Ability to interpret and follow through on a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule for
  • Excellent time management and organizational skill
  • Read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction document
  • Ability of complex reading, writing, math, and task completion skills is require
