Job description

Position: Renewals Representative
Reports To: Sales Leadership
Department: Sales
Location: Remote, US
Work Authorization: US Citizenship Required

BlueVoyant is seeking a Renewals Representative to join our Sales team and manage and close renewals across an assigned portfolio of customers. This individual contributor role owns the renewal process from early engagement through signature, delivers accurate forecasts, and identifies and addresses churn risk well before contract expiration. You'll work closely with Customer Success, Client Executives, Deal Desk, Finance, Legal and channel partners to secure on-time renewals, negotiate commercial terms and surface expansion opportunities.

What You'll Do:
  • Own and manage an assigned portfolio of renewals, delivering against quarterly and annual renewal bookings and retention targets.
  • Run the full renewal cycle, engaging customers 90–120 days ahead of contract expiration to confirm scope, pricing and timelines.
  • Maintain an accurate renewal forecast and pipeline, with strong data hygiene in Salesforce.
  • Take part in forecast calls and give clear updates on deal status, risks and expected outcomes.
  • Monitor customer health and risk signals, and partner with Customer Success on mitigation plans for at‑risk accounts.
  • Use MDR service data such as alert volume, false‑positive rates, time‑to‑resolution and product adoption to show value in renewal conversations.
  • Prepare renewal quotes and negotiate terms, including multi‑year agreements, true‑ups, co‑termination, price increases and payment terms, within approved discounting guidelines.
  • Escalate complex or high‑value renewals to leadership as needed.
  • Work with Deal Desk, Legal and Finance to process renewal paperwork, including order forms, Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Identify expansion opportunities during the renewal cycle and partner with Account Executives on upsell and cross‑sell.
  • Coordinate with channel and distribution partners to secure renewals for partner‑sourced customers.
  • Apply renewal playbooks, including objection handling for MDR pricing versus building an in‑house SOC, and for customers who question value after a quiet year.
  • Share customer feedback and renewal insights to help improve playbooks, processes and tools.
What You'll Bring:
  • 3–5+ years of experience in renewals, account management, customer success or B2B SaaS sales.
  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding renewal or retention targets.
  • Solid commercial skills, including pricing, quoting and negotiating subscription agreements.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and CPQ tools.
  • Working knowledge of the cybersecurity threat landscape and the value of 24/7 threat hunting and Mean Time to Respond (MTTR), or a strong interest in learning it.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage many renewals at once with attention to detail.
  • Confidence building relationships with customer stakeholders, including IT and security leaders.
  • The motivation to work independently and the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience in cybersecurity, MDR or managed security services is strongly preferred and will be a significant advantage.
  • Experience with Gainsight or similar customer success platforms.
  • Experience managing renewals tied to consumption‑based pricing, such as endpoints, data ingested (GB/day) or per‑user models.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Why BlueVoyant?
  • Own a portfolio of renewals and directly shape customer retention and growth at a fast‑growing MDR and cybersecurity provider.
  • Develop your commercial and negotiation skills while working across Customer Success, Sales, Finance, Legal and channel partners, with a path to grow your impact in the business.
  • Join a global, mission‑driven cybersecurity company defending organizations worldwide with cutting‑edge data, technology, and expertise.
  • Competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, with support for wellbeing, development, and career growth.
