Converge Insurance is seeking an experienced underwriter to manage renewal portfolios in Cyber Liability, Technology E&O, and Media Liability. You will evaluate and price policies to achieve premium and profitability goals while adhering to underwriting guidelines.

The role requires collaboration with partners, brokers, and internal teams, plus audits to ensure compliance with policies and regulations. A Bachelor's degree and 2–5+ years of experience are expected.

• Develop and manage relationships with partners, brokers and agents; ensure proper servicing.
• Participate in internal underwriting audits for guideline compliance.
• Work with product, claims, and technology teams to ensure proper underwriting processes.
• Comply with corporate policies, regulations, and code of conduct.

About the Role

This position is responsible for all underwriting tasks related to assigned underwriting files to promote premium growth and target loss ratio results. Responsibilities include meeting key performance metrics related to service guidelines, compliance, and portfolio management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and underwrite a profitable renewal portfolio of Cyber Liability, Technology E&O, Media Liability, and other E&O coverages.
• Evaluate, select, and price cyber insurance policies to achieve premium and profitability goals in accordance with underwriting guidelines and authority.
• Monitor key performance metrics, including quote, bind, and claims ratios, and take appropriate responsive action to meet business objectives.
• Develop and manage assigned relationships with partners, brokers and agents and ensure proper servicing of accounts.
• Participate in conducting internal underwriting audits to ensure compliance with all applicable guidelines.
• Work closely with other parts of the business, including product, claims, and technology, to ensure proper execution of underwriting processes.
• Comply with corporate policies, procedures, regulations, and applicable code of conduct.

About You

• General commercial and financial knowledge.

• Working knowledge of cyber insurance coverages and claims processes.
• Ability to manage time and priorities and execute on timelines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software.
• Ability to travel up to 15% as necessary.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree.
• 2-5+ years of related work experience.
• Renewal underwriting experience in Cyber, Media, and E&O.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $85,000 – $105,000 annually (commensurate with experience and location).
• Total Compensation Context: This role may be eligible for annual performance bonuses and equity participation.
