Job summary

Invitation Homes is seeking a Renewal Specialist to negotiate and finalize lease renewals with current residents in the assigned market. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service throughout the renewal process and achieving renewal targets.

Key duties include initiating renewal discussions, negotiating terms, processing lease documents promptly, and supporting the team with data entry and special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Active Real Estate license is required.
• Broad residential leasing knowledge.
• Experience in customer service or administrative functions.
• Experience in the property management or maintenance industry is helpful.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing resident inquiries and concerns throughout the renewal process.

• Provide administrative support, including clerical tasks, data entry, and document processing.
• Assist with special projects as required.
• Support department staff within the assigned region as needed.

Your Role on the Team

The Renewal Specialist is responsible for negotiating and finalizing lease renewals with current residents in the assigned market. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service throughout the renewal process while ensuring the achievement of renewal metrics and goals set by market leadership.

This position includes but is not limited to the following activities:

• Initiate communication with current residents to discuss and present lease renewal options.

• Negotiate lease renewals in accordance with asset management guidelines to meet renewal targets.

• Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing resident inquiries and concerns throughout the renewal process.

Your Experience Includes

• High school Diploma or GED

• An active Real Estate license is required for this role

• Strong verbal and written communications skills

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is: $27.82 - $48.22, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
