Job summary

MasTec Renewables in Fargo, ND is seeking a skilled Scheduler with 2-4 years of planning and scheduling experience on engineering and/or construction projects. You will develop and monitor schedules, prepare WBS, collect updates from management and contractors, and maintain the master schedule with critical path analysis.

Qualifications

• Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety.
• Knowledge/experience using earned value software applications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Primavera.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor schedule and earned value baseline
• Prepare Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and development of schedules and budget (including resource loading)
• Obtain and collect schedule updates from construction management personnel and contractors
• Maintain project construction schedule baseline and updates
• Assemble and compile schedules and inputs and provide detailed computer generated schedule reports, charts, and diagrams
• Analyze schedule progress and performance and identifies developing problem areas
• Maintain the master schedule logic and provide ongoing assessments of the impact of construction tasks delays, critical path, accelerations, cancellations, and additions to the overall Project Master schedule
• Provide data processing support for network schedule calculations, reports, and other related services
• Perform planning, scheduling and reporting duties with particular construction contractors and/or areas
• Participate in the development and maintenance of any periodic status reports to keep management informed on project progress
• Participate in developing and maintaining the project computer systems and Primavera based databases
• Receive work assignments from Senior Scheduler and other managers and act as planning & scheduling representative on project tasks
