Job summary

Arevon is recruiting for a Project Financial Controller, PM&C in the Construction department. The role partners with Development, Procurement, Accounting, Project Finance, and PM&C teams to protect the owner’s capital by tracking budgets, aligning with EPC contracts, and forecasting cash flow.

The ideal candidate brings renewable energy experience and a strong background in engineering, construction, and finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, construction management, finance, accounting, or related discipline.
• Four+ years of experience in construction project financial controls, estimating, construction management, or a similar role with an owner, developer, or independent power producer.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and full Microsoft Office suite; capable of translating complex data into actionable guidance.
• Experience with project controls software and a demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• CPA/CMA/MBA/PMP or project controls certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support development and audit of the EPC schedule of values used to establish and maintain the project budget.
• Perform budget-to-actual variance analyses and identify cost deviations.
• Maintain cost data and forecast analyses, aligning with Project Manager and Accounting.
• Provide forward-looking cost forecasts and cash flow projections to internal stakeholders.
• Review vendor invoices and support monthly draw processes.
