Ørsted in Austin, Texas seeks a Project Engineer to manage engineering activities across the lifecycle of onshore wind, solar, and battery storage projects. You’ll coordinate internal and external resources, identify and mitigate risks, and provide engineering support from development through construction and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline required.
• Experience coordinating internal and external engineering resources.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
• Experience managing multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and practical solutions.

Responsabilités

• Managing engineering design activities with internal teams, engineering consultants, EPC contractors, and other external partners.
• Supporting preliminary plant design, layouts, energy assessments, single-line diagrams, equipment selection, optimization, and cost estimation.
• Managing technical studies and engineering deliverables across geotechnical, geophysical, hydrology, civil, electrical, structural, and SCADA scopes.
• Identifying technical risks and supporting due diligence, permitting, interconnection, procurement, contracting, and project development activities.
• Reviewing engineering designs and design packages (30%, 60%, 90%, IFC, as-built) with a focus on safety and quality.
