Job summary

Orsted in the United States Austin area is seeking a Project Engineer to manage engineering activities across the lifecycle of onshore wind, solar, and battery storage projects. You will coordinate internal and external engineering resources, identify and mitigate technical risks, and provide engineering support from development through commissioning.

• Bachelor’s or technical degree in engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in renewable energy projects (solar, wind, or storage) preferred.
• Ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
• Strong communication of technical information to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal and external engineering resources.
• Identify technical risks and support mitigation across project lifecycle.
• Provide engineering support from development to commissioning.
• Review engineering designs and deliverables (30%, 60%, 90%, IFC).
• Address engineering matters during construction and commissioning.
