Job summary

Orsted Hornsea Project Four Limited in Austin, Texas is seeking a Project Engineer to manage engineering activities across the lifecycle of onshore wind, solar and battery storage projects. You’ll coordinate internal and external resources and address technical risks to deliver safe, high-quality projects.

You will support development through commissioning, review designs and deliverables, and work with multiple stakeholders to align schedules, budgets and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline is required.
• Experience in renewable energy projects including solar, wind, or storage is preferred.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering activities across development, design, construction, and commissioning.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and support due diligence and interconnection.
• Review engineering designs, packages and as-built documentation with a safety focus.
• Manage internal and external engineering resources and multi-disciplinary workstreams.
• Provide engineering support from development through project handover.
