Job summary

Fuse Energy, a US-based energy startup, seeks an Infrastructure Development Lead to own end-to-end development across data centers, BESS, wind, rooftop and ground-mounted solar. You will manage markets, permitting, financing, and strategic partnerships to energize Ready-to-Build projects.

This role is fully US-based, with travel across the country as needed. You will work with cross-functional teams in a fast-growing company focused on affordable energy and real-time trading, reporting to Head

Qualifications

• Experience developing data centers or large-scale infrastructure in the US.
• Deep knowledge of key US markets and why they matter: grid capacity and interconnection queues.
• Strong understanding of US permitting & interconnection processes with utilities, ISOs/RTOs, public commissions, and FERC.
• Strong technical understanding of data center infrastructure (power, cooling, utilities).
• Understanding of development financing (project finance, tax equity).
• Commercial/transactional experience, including PPAs.
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills across stakeholders.
• Highly analytical, self-directed with ownership across multiple projects.
• Willingness to travel across the US.

Responsibilities

• Own Renewable Energy and Data Center development in the US end-to-end.
• Evaluate markets across the US based on power, interconnection, land, and incentives.
• Identify and assess new opportunities (data centers, wind, BESS, solar) across technical perspectives.
• Lead market engagement and negotiations through to closing.
• Build a network of landowners, developers, utilities, authorities and clients.
• Structure PPAs and respond to RFPs.
• Secure land/leases; support development financing.
• Lead permitting, environmental review, and stakeholder engagement.
• Run due diligence and manage a live development pipeline.
• Manage pre-construction, risk, procurement bids, and EPC support.
