Job summary

Fuse Energy is seeking an Infrastructure Development Lead to own US data center and large-scale infrastructure development from opportunity through Ready-to-Build. You will lead market entry strategy, interconnection analysis, and financing discussions with investors and lenders.

You will build a strong local network across landowners, utilities, and authorities, structure PPAs, and drive permitting and stakeholder engagement to ensure timely approvals and delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience developing data centers or large-scale infrastructure in the US.
• Strong knowledge of US markets, grid capacity and interconnection queues.
• Understanding of permitting and interconnection processes with utilities, ISOs/RTOs, and FERC.
• Technical understanding of data center infrastructure (power, cooling, utilities).
• Experience with project finance structures, tax equity, and investor requirements.
• Commercial and transactional experience with PPAs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Able to manage multiple projects with significant ownership.
• Willingness to travel across the US.

Responsibilities

• Own Renewable Energy and Data Center development end-to-end in the US.
• Evaluate US markets based on power, interconnection queues, land, fiber, climate, permits, incentives.
• Identify and assess opportunities (data centers, wind, BESS, solar) from technical and permitting perspectives.
• Source and secure late-stage and Ready-to-Build projects and lead negotiations to close.
• Build a local network of landowners, developers, utilities, authorities, and clients.
• Structure PPAs with commercial/industrial clients and respond to RFPs.
• Secure land and lease agreements for selected sites.
• Lead development financing: tax equity and financing structure with investors.
• Lead permitting, environmental reviews, stakeholder engagement across government levels.
• Run due diligence with internal teams and maintain a live pipeline.
• Manage pre-construction, procurement tenders, EPC contract support.
• Mitigate risks across technical, commercial, development.
• Ensure projects are deliverable and construction-ready.
