Job summary

Fuse Energy is hiring an Infrastructure Development Lead to drive end-to-end renewable energy and data center projects across the US, from market entry through Ready-to-Build and energization.

You will evaluate markets using GIS and data analysis, coordinate permitting, interconnection, and stakeholder engagement, and lead commercial negotiations to secure projects and financing. This role offers travel across the US and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Experience with end-to-end development of large-scale infrastructure projects is essential.
• Strong understanding of permitting, interconnection processes, and regulatory frameworks.
• Proficient in GIS and data analysis to evaluate markets and opportunities.
• Excellent negotiation skills for PPAs, acquisitions, NDAs and LOIs.
• Experience with project finance, tax equity, and investor relations.

Responsibilities

• Own US renewable energy and data center development from market entry through Ready-to-Build and energization.
• Evaluate US markets based on power availability, interconnection queues, land, fiber, climate, and incentives.
• Identify and assess opportunities (data centers, wind, BESS, rooftop, carport) from technical and permitting perspectives.
• Lead commercial negotiations and secure late-stage and Ready-to-Build projects.
• Build a local network with landowners, utilities, authorities and clients; develop new prospecting methods.
• Structure PPAs and respond to RFIs/RFPs, secure land/leases, and support development financing.
• Lead permitting, environmental reviews, feasibility studies, and stakeholder engagement.
• Coordinate with consultants, utilities, grid operators, and lenders to secure timely approvals.
