Chevron Corporation in Houston seeks a Renewable Products Trader to develop and execute trading strategies across renewable fuels such as renewable diesel and biodiesel. You will manage commercial positions and collaborate with operations, logistics, and risk teams to maximize value within Chevron's risk framework.

The role requires 5+ years in commodity trading, a bachelor’s degree, and strong quantitative skills.

Qualificações

5+ years of experience in commodity trading or related energy markets.
Experience with renewable fuels, refined products, or related commodities is preferred.
Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities.
Experience developing commercial relationships and negotiating transactions.
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree is a plus.

Responsabilidades

Develop and execute renewable trading strategies across physical and financial markets.
Manage commercial positions in renewable diesel, biodiesel, and related products.
Identify arbitrage, storage, blending, and logistics opportunities.
Analyze market fundamentals, regulations, and pricing trends.
Hedging and risk management to control price exposure.
Collaborate with schedulers, logistics, and operations for execution.
Build relationships with counterparties, brokers, customers, and industry.
Support development of new markets and products.
Monitor regulatory programs including renewable fuels and LCFS.
Improve trading tools, analytical models, and processes.
Maintain governance and risk controls within Chevron's framework.
