Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Three or more years of experience in Trading or Marketing with P&L responsibility for Product Trading, Contract Negotiation and Scheduling (rail, truck, vessel and pipe).
• Senior Trader: Five or more years of experience in Trading or Marketing including P&L responsibility for Product Trading, Contract Negotiation and Scheduling (rail, truck, vessel and pipe).

Responsibilities

• Develops negotiating tactics to maximize MPC value and supports sales/supply plans.
• Reviews market conditions and adapts short-term plans to optimize value.
• Negotiates and executes deals to maximize economic benefits.
• Maintains relationships with counterparties and prepares market reports.
• Collaborates with Credit, Legal, Accounting and other teams to meet compliance and develop strategies.
• Analyzes market conditions to optimize value added from trading activity.
• Manages exposure and inventory to maximize market structure value within constraints.
