Job summary

Stout is seeking an analyst in our Valuation Advisory practice to help clients gain clarity on complex valuation matters across renewable energy sectors. You will work with senior team members to build foundational valuation skills, contributing to analyses for personal property, complex assets, and energy projects.

You will develop expertise while delivering rigorous analyses, including field verifications when needed, and presenting findings to clients and senior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related quantitative field.
• 0–2 years of internship or professional experience.
• Ability to travel.
• Foundational understanding of financial theory, economics, accounting, and financial statement analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform valuations of renewable energy projects for project finance, tax, financial reporting, and portfolio valuation.
• Conduct field inspections when required for valuation projects.
• Participate in client or management meetings with input on valuation methodologies and conclusions.
• Prepare deliverables and supporting analyses including presentations, packets, and written narratives for review and client delivery.
• Utilize AI-enabled tools to improve research, analysis, and deliverables while following firm standards.
