Job summary

Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions is hiring an Underwriting Specialist to join our Renewable Energy team. This role can be hybrid or remote and focuses on profitable growth, large accounts, and developing strategic relationships with producers nationwide.

You will assess complex risks in wind, solar, and emerging technologies, collaborate with risk control and claims, and travel to key producers to strengthen partnerships. Salary reflects market ranges and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 5-10 years of Renewable Energy underwriting experience.

Responsibilities

• Underwrites and manages a portfolio of complex renewable energy accounts across property and casualty lines.
• Develops strategic initiatives to grow the book of business in assigned territory.
• Builds strong relationships with producers and internal risk control, claims, actuary teams.
