The position involves reviewing new and renewal submissions, determining pricing and attachment strategies, and collaborating with brokers and internal stakeholders to deliver disciplined underwriting decisions in a hybrid/remote setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of casualty underwriting experience, with exposure to excess layers or construction/energy risks.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate severity-driven exposures.
• Familiarity with contractual risk transfer and additional insured requirements.
• Effective communication with brokers and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple submissions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze excess casualty submissions for renewable-energy risks (developers, owners/operators, EPC contractors, manufacturers).
• Assess exposures across construction, operations, products, and contractual risk transfer.
• Determine pricing, limits, and attachment points per underwriting guidelines and market conditions.
• Communicate appetite and strategy to wholesale and retail brokers; develop broker relationships.
• Evaluate renewals for loss trends and performance; adjust pricing, limits, and attachment points as needed.
