Kimley-Horn is seeking a motivated Project Manager to expand our Renewable Energy practice in Baltimore, MD. You will lead a team, manage client relationships, and direct development, energy assessment, engineering, or construction activities to meet wind project needs.

With autonomy to lead and grow, you will drive strategies, establish goals, and mentor staff. A strong bonus program and potential ownership path reflect the opportunity's scale and impact.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience managing renewable energy or related projects.
• Familiar with the relevant standards, regulations, and best practices for wind energy projects.
• Extensive client contacts and relationships with local architects, developers, land use attorneys, planners and/or land owners.
• Strong technical skills in AutoCAD Civil3D, Excel, and/or GIS.
• Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected work.
• Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner.
• Demonstrated ability to manage renewable energy projects profitably.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a Renewable Energy team and manage relationships with key clients.
• Coordinate development, energy assessment, engineering, or construction activities to meet wind project needs.
• Provide vision, business planning and strategy; establish goals; build client relationships.
• Manage projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, and mentor team members.
• Operate with autonomy to lead, direct, and grow the business with a strong ownership mindset.
• Potential for significant bonus program and path toward ownership.
