Job summary

Arup is seeking an Associate in Austin, TX to lead proposal development and manage execution of electrical engineering scopes in utility-scale renewable energy projects. You'll drive bids, schedule control, and commissions while mentoring teams and building client relationships.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience, with strong leadership and communication skills to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience in electrical or energy projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead proposal preparation by developing scope and resource plans.
• Deliver bid and execution phase design and consulting services for utility-scale renewables.
• Oversee daily execution of project engineering scopes of work.
• Manage own and team production schedules and change management on bids and projects.
• Lead commissioning of full electrical systems for renewable utility-scale applications.
• Review construction drawings and specs for renewable energy systems.

Education

Bachelor’s degree + 10 yrs exp
