Job summary

ANS seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead design and development of electrical systems for solar and battery storage projects in Austin, TX. The role requires PE licensure and a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of experience.

You will conduct feasibility studies, perform power system modeling, create drawings and specs, ensure NEC/IEEE/NFPA/NERC compliance, stamp drawings, mentor teams, and contribute to proposals. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
PE Licensure required.
8+ years of Electrical Engineering experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Passion for renewable energy and sustainability.

Responsibilities

Lead design and development of electrical systems for solar and storage projects.
Conduct feasibility studies, power system modeling, and calculations.
Create and review electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
Analyze designs to ensure NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and NERC compliance.
Stamp engineering drawings.
Provide mentorship and lead teams.
Contribute technical expertise to business development and proposals.
