Job summary

The Green Recruitment Company is partnering with a growing renewable energy platform to recruit a Project Finance Associate in San Francisco. You will build and maintain project- and fund-level financial models, align assumptions with underwriting, and support M&A diligence and financing execution.

Based in San Francisco, you will collaborate with development, engineering, legal, and capital markets teams to shape financial strategy across solar, BESS, EV charging, and land development.

Qualifications

• Experience in renewable energy project finance, investment banking, corporate development, or M&A is preferred.
• Proficient in Excel modeling including cash flows, scenarios, and valuation frameworks.
• Strong written and verbal communication with ability to translate analyses into insights.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize project- and fund-level financial models.
• Support buy- and sell-side M&A diligence and transactional execution.
• Model and analyze PPA and community solar RFP responses and pricing.
• Collaborate with development, engineering, legal, and capital markets teams to validate inputs.
• Prepare investment memoranda and presentation materials for approvals and discussions.
• Assist with transaction structuring and financing document execution.
• Monitor late-stage and operational project financials and identify risks.
• Track market trends and valuation benchmarks relevant to solar and BESS financing.
