Job summary

ENGIE North America Inc. invites a Development Intern to join the Utility-Scale Development Team, supporting solar, wind, and battery projects from concept to commercial operation.

You will attend project calls, capture action items, coordinate with SMEs, research market information, and help advance project tasks across the western United States, reporting to the Development team manager. Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a master’s degree program in Renewable Energy, Environmental Policy, Engineering, Business Administration, Planning, Economics, or a related field.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills that support recommendations and follow-up for the business while balancing detailed tasks with the broader project objective.
• Ability to shift among multiple projects and clearly defined assignments in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for email, Microsoft Teams meetings, phone calls, meeting notes, concise summaries, and presentations.
• A proactive, solutions-oriented approach, eagerness to learn, self-motivation, and ability to preserve confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project schedules, milestone budgets, executive review materials, work orders, key invoices, meeting notes, and documentation.
• Assist with project opportunity evaluation, permitting and environmental coordination, agency communication, market research, and internal and external stakeholder follow-up.
