Brookfield Renewable N.A. is seeking a Contract Management Specialist to bridge PPAs and COD across our renewable assets in New York. You will coordinate with commercial, legal, and operations teams and act as the primary liaison for large off-takers to meet contractual milestones.

The role emphasizes rigorous contract interpretation, strong financial acumen, and an ability to manage complex energy transactions from inception through integration, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of professional experience in renewable energy, utilities, or large-scale infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Ability to read and interpret complex legal and financial documents (PPAs or energy contracts).
• High EQ and communication skills for external client relationships and internal stakeholders.
• Attention to detail with a zero-error mindset on deadlines and compliance filings.
• Self-starter mentality; own projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

• PPA lifecycle and development management.
• Execution to COD: manage critical path obligations for PPAs.
• Milestone tracking: monitor progress and issue notices as required.
• Compliance & reporting: oversee environmental attribute tracking and financial reporting.
• Transaction integration & special projects: facilitate integration of complex energy transactions.
• Process improvement: identify efficiencies in contract tracking and management.
• Cross-functional liaison: act as central node between commercial, legal, and operations teams.
