Brookfield Renewable in New York is seeking an Analyst, Capital Markets to join a growing team reporting to the Vice President, Capital Markets & Treasury. The role focuses on executing debt and tax equity financings, building financial models, and coordinating with lenders, sponsors, and internal teams to drive near-term and long-term growth.

This on-site role at our New York office. You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, gain exposure to project financings and acquisition

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in project finance or investment banking.
• Experience in financial modeling and familiarity with tax equity and debt structures.
• Experience in renewables would be an asset.
• CFA or CPA designation would be an asset.
• Strong leadership, ownership, accountability.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; strong financial modeling skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple objectives in a fast-paced, team environment.

Responsabilités

• Assist in executing debt and tax equity financings, including building the model and coordinating with investors and advisors.
• Coordinate with development and construction teams to align financing with timelines.
• Develop financing strategies for senior management presentation.
• Support the VP, Capital Markets & Treasury on projects to improve financial management.
• Contribute to a flexible, collaborative, high-performing culture.
