Job summary

SolRiver Capital LLC is seeking an M&A Associate to support solar and storage project acquisitions. The role requires 1–2 years of renewable energy deal experience and strong financial modeling skills.

You will evaluate, negotiate, and execute transactions, coordinating with developers and financiers, and oversee consultants through closings in a fast-paced environment with high ownership expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
• 1+ year of work experience in investment banking, private equity, or energy finance.
• Ability to understand project finance concepts, debt & equity structures, and milestones.

Responsibilities

• Financial Modeling: build, audit, and stress test models for acquisitions, portfolios, and loans.
• Transaction Negotiation & Execution: draft and execute LOIs, term sheets, and various agreements with developers.
• Project Financing: assist in financing portfolio projects (debt, tax equity).
• Managing Consultants: coordinate appraisers, engineers, accountants, and tax consultants through closings.
