Qualifications

• 2–6 years of substantive experience in administrative/civil litigation and energy law
• Candidates with extensive experience in state or federal administrative law and a strong passion for energy law will also be considered
• Experience before the Kentucky Public Service Commission and/or the Kentucky Electrical Generation and Transmission Siting Board
• Experience appealing adverse administrative decisions to Kentucky circuit courts and/or the Kentucky Court of Appeals
• Regulatory counseling, transactional, and/or litigation experience under major environmental programs is also beneficial
• Excellent legal writing, research and analysis skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Willingness to support team members and pursue ongoing education in both legal and industry developments
• Superior academic credentials

Compensation

The salary range for this role is$160,000-$195,000, reflecting a variety of factors including experience, training, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs. Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, relevant experience, and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable employment laws.

Associates are also eligible for:

Quarterly and annual objective bonuses, with maximum objective bonus opportunities ranging from approximately$14,000 to $22,000per year, depending on associate level

Annual subjective bonus
