Job summary

Otovo is hiring a Field Service Technician to service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial solar energy systems, battery storage, and generators in the United States. This role suits an experienced electrical professional who enjoys hands-on work and delivering excellent customer service while supporting the clean energy transition.

You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure compliance with NEC/AHJ.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of electrical experience.
• State electrical certification or license (Journeyman/ Wireman) preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair solar panels, inverters, batteries, generators, and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Commission new systems and upgrades in compliance with NEC/AHJ.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Follow safety procedures including PPE and lockout/tagout.
