Atwell, LLC is seeking a Renewable Energy Site Design Engineer to collaborate on ground mounted solar and battery storage projects across markets. You will develop site plans, perform grading analyses, and assist with construction drawings and permit applications.

This position will collaborate with team members on renewable energy site design for high impact projects across diverse markets. If you're passionate about shaping communities through thoughtful design and want to work on challenging, high-profile projects, this is your opportunity to thrive.

Accountability and Duties

• Designs renewable energy site plans utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D with a focus on ground mounted solar arrays and battery energy storage systems (BESS).
• Prepares conceptual grading analyses and site layout.
• Prepares and computes, but not limited to due diligence/site analysis reports, engineer opinion of probable costs, utility computations, detention/retention computations, storm water reports, earthwork analysis.
• Assists in production of final construction drawings.
• Prepares permit applications for applicable municipal agencies.
• Assists project managers as requested.
• Assists with client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects.
• Works closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
• Attends client and public meetings- days or evenings.
• Participates in business development efforts as requested.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Outstanding Interpersonal skills, ability to interact with a variety of people.
• Adaptable and able to respond quickly and accurately under pressure.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be fluent in the English .
• Available to work nights and weekends to complete projects as necessary.
• Proficient in MS office. AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is a plus.
• Must have a valid drivers license.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college or university. 0-4 years related experience.
