Job summary

Atwell, LLC is a bold leader in engineering and construction services with a national footprint and a diverse project portfolio. The firm seeks a Civil Engineer/Designer to design utility-scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System sites and develop grading, drainage, and permitting packages.

The role requires 2–5+ years of civil/site design experience, proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater tools, and readiness to coordinate across multiple disciplines on renewables projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with 2–5+ years of civil/site design experience.
• Experience in grading, drainage, stormwater design, and utility layouts.
• EIT preferred; PE a plus; renewable energy/site development experience is valued.

Responsibilities

• Design utility-scale Solar PV and BESS sites.
• Develop site grading and drainage plans for renewable energy facilities.
• Perform stormwater analyses and hydrologic/hydraulic studies.
• Prepare civil construction plans and permitting packages.
• Coordinate with electrical, environmental, survey, and geotechnical teams.
