Job summary

Hanwha Renewables is seeking an Associate Developer to support U.S. solar and energy storage project development.

You will assist in opportunity identification, due diligence, interconnection planning, and coordinating with internal teams to move projects from concept to realization, with travel up to 50%. The role requires at least 2 years in renewable energy development, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong negotiation and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible experience in renewable energy development, especially solar PV, in the U.S.
  • Experience in business development, project development, marketing or equivalent roles.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills and ability to manage commercial aspects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and execution of business development opportunities from identification to completion.
  • Identify and secure renewable energy customers and transactions and manage prospect pipelines.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop opportunities to acquire or develop new solar projects in U.S. or international markets.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure project viability through analysis and project management.
  • Participate in due diligence and support deal structuring with finance and legal teams.
  • Develop schedules, monitor milestones, and prepare routine progress reports.
