Job summary

Matrix Renewables is seeking a Development Analyst to support market entry analysis through Ready-to-Build (RTB) and into financing and construction from a development perspective.

This on-site role is based in Miami, FL or Austin, TX and collaborates with internal and external teams to ensure timely permits, interconnection and project advancement. A strong background in renewables and advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BS or BA, preferably in engineering, math, science, accounting, finance or similar field.
• 2+ years of renewable energy industry experience in commercial roles.
• High attention to detail and curiosity.
• Strong decision-making skills in light of uncertainty.
• Strong entrepreneurial, organizational, analytical and people skills.
• Ability to travel to our Miami headquarters and throughout the U.S.
• Expert in Excel, PowerPoint and Word; proficient in Smartsheets; PowerBI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support development activities of utility scale projects from market entry analysis to RTB, under guidance.
• Assist in tracking development status and liaising with developers to deliver RTB on time.
• Assist in project scheduling management, including sequencing and duration Estimation.
• Assist in maintaining development budgets and actual results.
• Assist in internal reporting and prepare presentations and trackers.
• Prepare and review project pro forma models to understand returns.
• Assist in permit applications and attending hearings and community meetings.
• Review and summarize third party consultant reports.
