Ferrovial in the U.S. energy development group seeks an Analyst based in Austin, TX to evaluate utility-scale projects, storage, and grid-connected infrastructure across the U.S.

The role supports market analysis, policy monitoring, interconnection reviews, permitting, and financial modeling, coordinating with engineering, finance, and legal teams. You will help advance project opportunities, prepare investment materials, and track schedules, budgets, and risk factors, reporting to the Director

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in renewable energy, storage, sustainability, or related fields.
  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint, data analysis, and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with U.S. energy policy and utility markets is a plus.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams across engineering, finance, and permitting.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Degree in engineering, energy systems, economics, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market, policy, regulatory, sustainability, and commercial analysis to inform decisions.
  • Support utility-scale renewable energy, storage, and grid-connected projects from screening through readiness.
  • Coordinate interconnection and transmission activities with utilities and ISOs/RTOs.
  • Analyze market rules, transmission planning, congestion, and market reforms.
  • Coordinate with engineering and construction teams on site layouts and project assumptions.
  • Prepare updates and presentation materials for management and stakeholders.
  • Track schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
  • Support acquisitions, co-development, and diligence activities.
