Job summary

TotalEnergies Renewables USA, LLC is expanding its business development team in renewable power. The role supports acquisition opportunities, financial modelling, and due diligence to de-risk projects and maximize value.

Based in Houston or Boston, you will interact with internal teams and external partners to execute strategy. The successful candidate will have 2+ years in energy, strong analytical skills, and experience with renewables or investment banking.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred (as applicable).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the energy industry; renewables/investment banking preferred.
• Knowledge of energy storage fundamentals and wholesale electricity markets.
• Demonstrated ability to support utility-scale project development through intensive financial modelling, design optimization and development support.
• Strong analytical, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support acquisition opportunities and evaluate project design and operation.
• Develop financial models and assist with due diligence and negotiations.
• Research state and ISO/RTO market programs and incentives for project valuation.
• Coordinate materials for project finance and contract negotiations with stakeholders.
• Lead and support development strategy and market analyses for TERUSA.
