Job summary

Agua Caliente Casinos in Palm Springs, CA is seeking a full-time Exempt Project Manager Support role. The position assists the Project Manager and construction team across the project lifecycle, coordinating schedules, bidding, and closeout while maintaining daily logs and cost controls.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in hospitality or commercial construction, with proficiency in Excel/Word/Project/Outlook and familiarity with Procore or similar PM software.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years or more of direct hospitality or commercial construction and project management experience working for a developer, general contractor or project management firm.
• Bachelor degree or High School Diploma/GED with work experience in the field.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Project and Outlook. Experience with Procore and/or other project management software preferred.
• General knowledge and understanding of commercial construction practices, processes, design, finance, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager and Construction team members in various tasks throughout the project’s lifecycle.
• Assist in managing the design and construction process, including coordination of schedule, bidding, construction administration and project closeout.
• Assist in managing scopes of work as assigned, i.e. estimating, scheduling, specific project management tasks, finance and contract administration.
• Assists in identifying problems or potential problems as they relate to the organization of the job.
• Quality control to include verifying all materials received on the project.
• Assist in project control (budget, schedule, trend logs, etc.).
• Assist in creation of daily logs.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Responsible for assisting other PMs in the planning, organizing, supervising, quality control, security and safety procedures on the assigned job sites, as well as accurate communication, detailing the daily progress and bringing attention to potential problems.
